A well presented double room available in a relaxed and friendly house to rent in Ponsanooth (on a bus route to Penryn campus + Falmouth). The room overlooks the front garden and the house is on the edge of the village, two minutes walk from the bus stop and five minutes walk to the village shop.
Rent is £620 a month including water, gas, electric, wifi, tv licence etc. If you're not a full time student, a £50 is payable monthly towards council tax.
Shared use of a modern, well fitted kitchen and shared bathroom with bath and a separate shower cubicle. A washing machine, tumble dryer and a large fridge freezer are in the utility room off the kitchen.
A good sized dining room/sitting room is through an archway from the kitchen. This is generally for the sole use of whoever rents the room, where the table can also be used as a desk if needed. There's a washing line and racks for drying clothes in the rear garden on sunny/breezy days, and dehumidifier and racks for indoor drying.
It's a no shoe household, with gas central heating throughout and on street parking.
Ideally the room will suit a quiet student or working person who is used to or at ease with sharing a home with a house cat. The room is a double, about 11 X 10 feet, but won't suit anyone with mountains of stuff. Storage for a bicycle, surf board etc outside (under cover).
I am a friendly, easy going live-in landlady, and am looking to share with someone who keeps things clean and tidy, preferably a female, but open to all enquiries.
Use of the gardens including a private, sunny rear garden with various seating areas, decking for BBQs etc, and a large patio is due to be installed by spring.
Ponsanooth has a well stocked village shop with post office. Within a three minutes' walk of the house is a bus stop with regular services to Penryn University campus and Falmouth, and also buses to Truro. There are also lovely walks in the country lanes around here.
